HOW TO THE GET THERE

 

BY CAR

From Buenos Aires, the 1,200-km journey takes about 11 hours and we suggest taking Road 7 to Junín, from there, take Road 188 to General Alvear and then Road 143 to San Rafael. From there, take Road 144 to El Sosneado and, finally, take Road 222 to Valle de Las Leñas, 20 km after Los Molles.

BY BUS

During the winter season, Las Leñas offers round-trip transportation from Buenos Aires directly to Las Leñas by sleeper bus with on-board meal service. Departures are on Fridays and Sundays. There are daily departures to San Rafael bus terminal from the main cities of the country by different transport companies. From San Rafael, it is possible to travel to Las Leñas by private shuttle or Iselin company buses. There are daily departures at 10 am. 

BY PLANE

During the winter season there are daily flights from Buenos Aires to San Rafael and Mendoza airports. In addition, Las Leñas offers private transfers from both airports.

LEGAL REQUIREMENT TO CARRY SNOW CHAINS

 

During the winter season the porting of chains is obligatory to transit the access route to Las Leñas. his provision is based on the regulations of the National Commission for Transport Regulation (CNRT) which states that for high mountain roads, arriers must carry chains that will be used if necessary.

Skiweek and Miniweek programs: departure Friday 4:30 p.m. – presentation 4:00 p.m.
Extraweek programs: departure Sunday 4:30 p.m. – presentation 4:00 p.m.
Location: Plaza Grand Bourg – Av. Ramón Castilla between Av Libertador and Figueroa Alcorta, in front of the Sanmartiniano institute.
The transport will not have food service, according to current regulations, but there will be a stop on the way.
In principle, the service will only be sold by round trip, with priority for passengers with accommodation in Pisces, Acuario, Aries, Scorpio and Hostel.
